Misys Summit FT for Trading
Summit FT is a market leading solution for trading desks.
It supports high volume flow trading and highly sophisticated
structuring capabilities to ensure that the best trading decisions
are made in real-time.
It is imperative to have access to real-time data to make the
best decisions in today's volatile markets. In Summit FT, market
data is updated dynamically, reacting immediately to
real-time changes in pricing. The solution enables
traders to follow prices, monitor spreads, perform what-if
scenarios, check credit lines - all on an interactive basis; and
thereby make quick decisions and manage exposure effectively.
Users can view deal-level sensitivities such as PV01, delta, gamma,
vega, theta and others to get a rapid measurement of
risk.
Summit FT provides up-to-the minute views of the trading
position, with real-time P&L decomposition and 'drill- down' to
the details of the trades. Thus, it is a seamless task to manage
cash positions and track funding requirements.
The fast trade and deal entry templates provided speed-up the
trading process, with secondary screens available for full
customization and optimum flexibility in defining the
characteristics of an instrument. Hedges can be computed
directly from the trade entry screen in equivalents of cash,
futures, FRAs, bonds, par swaps, or any user-defined combination of
these. 'What if' hedge trades help to assess the overall
impact on risk.
